发言嘉宾根据各自的主题,围绕“出版物的发展与图书馆资源建设的对策”做主旨发言,每人20分钟(包括提问),共计120分钟;然后讨论30分钟。会场提供英汉、汉英同传翻译和双语发言投影。

七、嘉宾和主持人介绍
南希?罗伯茨,文学博士,曾任多个出版社的编辑和制作主管,熟悉少儿、工具书、商业等出版社的运营,现任剑桥大学出版社学术出版全球制作和运营主任。
肖希明,武汉大学信息管理学院图书馆学系教授,博士生导师,兼任中国图书馆学会学术研究委员会副主任、资源建设与共享专业委员会主任委员、湖北省图书馆学会常务理事等。
卡罗尔?巴库斯,人类遗传学博士,曾任公司生殖毒理学专家,后任德国施普林格出版社医学编辑等职务,现任威立-布莱克韦尔生命科学出版总监。2010年以后一直在中国从事编辑业务发展工作。
余海宪,研究馆员,华东师范大学图书馆常务副馆长,总支书记,教育部高等学校图书情报工作指导委员会委员,中国图书馆学会资源建设与共享专业委员会委员,上海市图书馆学会常务理事,上海市高校图工委副主任。
扬?威廉?维能,化学博士,曾任克卢韦尔学术出版集团(现并入施普林格出版社)的化学出版编辑等职务,并为若干学术出版社担任出版顾问和项目主管,现任爱思唯尔出版社执行出版人,管理15种物理学期刊,并拓展新刊业务。
张勇,研究馆员,湖南图书馆馆长,湖南省图书馆学会理事长,中国图书馆学会学术委员会委员兼地方文献专业委员会主任,《图书馆》杂志主编。主要研究方向为文献资源建设和图书馆管理。
顾犇,研究馆员,国家图书馆外文采编部主任,中国图书馆学会资源建设与共享专业委员会副主任委员,《国际图联杂志》编委。

Each guest speaker will make a 20-minute presentation (including Q&A), and then there will be a 30-minute discussion. English-Chinese/Chinese-English Simultaneous Interpretation and bilingual presentation will be provided.
About Guest Speakers and the Moderator:
Nancy Roberts has a Ph.D. in Literature. She has served as an editor and production supervisor in a number of publishing houses, and is an expert in such publishing fields as children’s books, reference books and business books. She is currently Global Production & Operations Director, Academic Publishing, Cambridge University Press.
XIAO Ximing is a professor and Ph.D. supervisor in the Librarianship division of the School of Information Management, Wuhan University. He is also Vice-Chair of the Academic Research Committee of the Library Society of China (LSC), Chair of of LSC’s Resource Development and Sharing Committee, and Executive Director of the Hubei Provincial Society of Library Science.
Carol Bacchus has a Ph.D. in Human Genetics. After working as a reproductive toxicologist she worked for the German publishing house Springer as medical editor and in other capacities. She is currently VP & Director, Life Sciences at Wiley-Blackwell. Since 2010 she has spent most of her time in China developing editorial services.
YU Haixian is a research librarian. He is Executive Vice-Director of the East China Normal University Library, Member of the Academic Library and Information Work Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education, Member of the Resource Development and Sharing Committee of LSC, Executive Director of the Shanghai Society for Library Science, Vice-Chair of the Shanghai Academic Library and Information Work Steering Committee.
Jan Willem Wijnen has a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry. He worked for Kluwer Academic Publishers (now part of Springer) as chemical publications editor and in other posts, and has been publishing consultant or project manager for a number of academic publishers. He is currently an executive publisher with Elsevier B.V., managing 15 physics journals and developing new journal business.
ZHANG Yong, Director of the Hunan Library, Chair of the Hunan Society for Library Science, Chair of Local Documents Committee of LSC, Editor-in-Chief of Library (Journal).
GU Ben is a research librarian. He is Director of the Foreign Acquisitions & Cataloging Department of the National Library of China, Vice-Chair of the Resource Development and Sharing Committee of LSC, and Editorial Committee Member of the IFLA Journal.
